However, for some reason, the value calculated by the formula does not update automatically. We already had the calculation options set to automatic and didn't know why values weren't updating.

I have been working on a rollout of Lync 2013 at my company over the last couple weeks.

We are moving from an Open Fire/Spark setup to Lync mostly because we wanted to give our users the ability to do video chats and screen share's easily and Spark did not really provide this functionality for us.

Requires 7-Zip Write-Host " " &Zip Path e $Export File Name Path Zip Output Param Write-Host " " Write-Host " " $original = [xml] (Get-Content $Lync XMLFile) #Set our loop counter to 0 $count = $original. I changed the setting as indicated above; but the auto-recalculate still did not work, and upon rechecking the "Calculation" option, found it had reset itself back to "Manual" all by itself. There are a few more things I would like to add to it and clean up but I wanted to get it out in the wild for other people to use.Currently this script will only update the Contact Groups for a user who has logged into the server at least once.Typically, the kind of error you describe (turning a value into the wrong type of argument for a formula), will produce an error message. In this question, there was no error message; formulas just required manual recalculation instead of doing it automatically.
